Empower You, Inc. serves youth and individuals in crisis by addressing the root cause of addiction, violence, incarceration, and lost productivity: nervous system dysregulation and unprocessed trauma.
We deliver science-backed tools for nervous system regulation and emotional processing that transform survival patterns into sustainable change.
Fear becomes coherence. Anger becomes regulation. Resentment, anxiety, and shame transform into confidence and strength.
The result is measurable: youth and those in crisis move from crisis response to empowered agency. They break cycles of addiction and violence. They increase productivity and reclaim their futures. They move from imprisoned to empowered.
Our vision is systemic impact at scale. With every storm, we equip entire communities with the foundational tools to heal, regulate, and thrive.
Youth and individuals in crisis don't just survive; they learn to dance in the rain.
Our purpose is to Serve. Mentor. Co-regulate.
Be the lighthouse in the storm.
As society fully integrates into the digital age, our purpose is to bring the human back online.

Britney Valas is the Founder and President of Empower You, Inc. and the creator of the TRIGGERZ® Transformation System, a practical framework that turns emotional storms into structured pathways for nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and neural pathway growth. As founder of Shaw Enterprises, she leads a transformation consulting firm that serves companies and organizations with fractional strategic leadership and corporate wellness solutions, carrying the same tools from youth and adults in crisis to leaders in the boardroom.
A mother of five and Director of Partnerships over National Accounts for a Phoenix-based Commercial General Contractor, Britney spends her days working with developers, architects, engineers, and investors to build the physical infrastructure, alongside her life’s work serving youth and those in crisis, to build the internal infrastructure that can weather any storm.
Shaped by two decades of entrepreneurial and corporate experience, profound personal loss, and a hard-won healing journey, she brings a rare blend of strategic clarity, emotional depth, and grounded faith to every room she enters, whether she is walking a landsite, leading a board meeting, or sitting with a teenager on the edge of transformation.

Christopher A. Shaw, Ph.D, is a full professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of British Columbia, with cross appointments to the Programs in Neuroscience and Experimental Medicine and the Department of Pathology. Much of his work has been devoted to understanding the impacts of aluminum vaccine adjuvants (aluminum-based adjuvants, ABAs) on the developing nervous system. Shaw and colleagues have published a series of critical reviews of ABAs.
The work with aluminum adjuvants arose from a link to a type of ALS on Guam (ALS-PDC), leading to an attempt to reproduce the neurological features of ALS in Gulf War Syndrome. The work showed profound motor neuron degeneration and behavioral deficits after aluminum hydroxide injections in mice.
Shaw has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles, 3 books, a number of reviews, chapters, and various edited books. The latter includes two recent co-edited books: Down the Covid-19 Rabbit Hole: Independent Scientists and Physicians Unmask the Pandemic and Covid-19 Pandemonium: A Pandemic of Ignorance, Fear and Greed: the Capture of Our Intuitions. As well, he serves as co-Chair of the Scientific and Medical Advisory Committee of the Canadian Citizens Care Alliance.
